Irradiation of inflamed joint tissue (rheumatoid arthritis, active arthritis) with radioactive material:
  • Conservative, effective treatment of practically all forms of joint inflammation, including inflamed, irritable arthritis (so-called active arthritis)
  • Out-patient, simple procedure involving puncture of joint and injection
  • High dose localized at the origin in treated joint, no radiation exposure to the rest of the body
